7th Annual Bunny Run 5K

The Bunny Run 5K Run/Walk was established in 2014 as a community event for family and friends of people in the Lebanon County Area. The race is a “Family Friendly” event and is held Easter Weekend.  We hope by having it during the Easter weekend it gives families and friends an event to attend as people visit for the Easter holiday.  We want to give college students home for the holiday and people visiting relatives in the area something fun to do during the Easter weekend.

 

The race is organized by the Annville Cleona Cross Country Booster Club with help from friends from the Lebanon County Special Olympics and many other friends and community organizations.  Proceeds from the race benefit both the AC Cross County Teams and the Lebanon County Special Olympics.  Both are non-profit organizations.  

 

In 2020 we expect to have over 300 runners participate. We plan to have a live DJ,  great food, and of course, T-shirts.  The 3.1 mile course is both challenging and beautiful. The course includes two slight hills and twice takes participants over a beautiful trout stream. Based on survey responses, comments and emails our runners were very pleased with the course layout and the rest of their race day experience.
